Beacon History & Company Information
Pope Woodard started Pope Building Systems in October 2005, following 23 years experience in residential and commercial development projects. The company was started with its primary focus as a pre-engineered building specialist - including design, sales and installation of a variety of pre-engineered building products, such as steel, fabric or fiberglass structures.
The company now uses the trade name Beacon Development and includes 15 employees.
We include all labor, material and travel as projects may require. All of our installers have been instructed in proper usage of equipment and are certified in areas of fall protection, rigging and typical jobsite OSHA safety standards. We will provide OSHA and EM 385 steel erection plans. Our crew averages 12 years experience in building erection.
Our company has been in the business of erecting pre-engineered buildings for 10+ years and erects an average of 8 buildings per year. The buildings range in size from 5000 sq ft to 125,000 sq ft. We have worked for General Contractors and individual owners.
Beacon provides all tools and equipment needed to complete the building erection or construction project.
